TRONICO joins the AGÔN ELECTRONICS group

The announcement last February of the acquisition of Tronico by the AGÔN Electronics group, shareholder of Leroy Automation, marks a new stage in the group’s strategy.Tronico designs and manufactures electronic systems for critical applications and is located in Vendée, France. Tronico also has a twin entity in Morocco.

The AGÔN Electronics Group now represents a heavyweight in the French electronics industry specializing in the design, manufacturing of its own products and subcontracting for the demanding sectors of aeronautics, on-board railway, energy, space and medical. With a turnover of €225 million in 2024 and a workforce of 1,430 employees, this merger constitutes the first French player in this ultra-technical segment with high added value, with the ambition of building the European leader of tomorrow.
In this context, Leroy Automation will be able to bring its recognized expertise in the railway, military and industrial markets, and benefit from synergies and complementarities in engineering services, particularly for the design of critical on-board electronic systems.

Also, Leroy Automation will be able to meet the growing needs of its strategic customers in terms of production capacity, while maintaining the level of excellence required in the quality and reliability of its products.
