DATA DIODE
DATA DIODE FOR CYBERSECURITY APPLICATIONS IN RAILWAY SYSTEMS (EN 50155)
The DATADIODE (or DTD, in short) technology enforces an one-way unidirectional communication device, with protocol break mechanisms, that enables the secure transfer of data between two network domains, or between two critical equipment with different levels of security clearance. It provides a physical barrier that blocks any traffic in one way, while allowing data to flow freely in the opposite direction.
For instance, using a DATADIODE allows to secure the implementation of carborne remote diagnostic solutions, to protect security information and event management (SIEM) solutions based on juridical event recorders, crash protected memory devices, etc.
